Technical Assistance and Consulting

AGE+’s multifaceted expertise in aging gives us the unique ability to provide assistance to agencies and organizations working directly with older adults, their families and communities in Oregon and beyond.

We focus on identifying challenges and opportunities facing communities and developing innovative strategies to strengthen their capacity to care for and be more inclusive of older adults. We utilize a proven model of asset based community development designed to identify existing assets to better provide resources that strengthen services and systems for people of all ages.

Our consulting portfolio includes asset mapping, conducting interviews and focus groups, community assessments, development of intergenerational programming, creation of education and training modules, housing development and more.

AGE+ is launching a Leadership Exchange on Ageism—the first of its kind in Oregon—designed for decision-makers, executives, policy experts, and funders. Sessions will challenge participants to examine their own implicit bias and institutional bias, see their role in ending ageism, and connect them to tools for success. This Leadership Exchange on Ageism is all about empowering leaders to interrupt ageism. Click here nominate yourself or someone you know to participate in one of the first cohorts this fall!
