Dear friends and supporters,
Our mission at AGE+ is to empower communities of all ages to value and care for older adults, especially those who are isolated, low-income and underserved. Part of this mission is to raise awareness about the unseen faces of aging and the diverse populations calling Oregon their home. We want all Oregonians to be able to age in community. To achieve this, we want to work with communities to create genuine change to address inequities. The briefing paper we are sharing today is meant to serve as a tool to bring attention to the challenges and resiliency of older Black Oregonians and the communities that support them.
Thank you,
Keren Brown Wilson, Founder & CEO
