AGE+ is thrilled to announce that we are the recipient of our first Federal Grant, in partnership with National Council on Aging. Our work will focus on 16 rural counties in Oregon with the lowest booster uptake rates among older adults. While the National Emergency Declaration ends soon, older adults continue to be at high risk for major illness and death from COVID-19. We are proud to continue working with our partners to implement an age-friendly outreach approach so that older Oregonians continue to have easy access to correct information and opportunities for vaccination. Let’s not so quickly forget the lessons learned during the pandemic so that the lives that were lost and broken – mean something.
