What a milestone for Oregon! By becoming an Age-Friendly State, we are embracing the changes in our population and committing to communities where everyone can thrive. Thank you to Governor Kotek for recognizing the importance of preparing for longer lives.
Now, the work continues as we gear up to create a Multi-Sector Plan for Aging that builds a more connected, responsive, and inclusive future; one that makes Oregon a great place to grow up and grow old.
AGE+ is so proud to be leading this work with our partners at AARP Oregon, the Oregon Governor’s Commission on Senior Services, and with people and communities across Oregon. This work belongs to all of us, and we need voices from all corners of the state to help shape what comes next.
